Upload assessment (CSV) — Platform & Directory admins

Structured import for teams that already maintain question spreadsheets (separate from pulling items from the Question Bank).

Prerequisites​

  • canUploadAssessments ⇒ Platform Administrator or Directory Administrator only (other roles see Access restricted copy).
  • Prepare CSV according to the template your CS / implementation team supplies (do not invent column names per customer without validation).

Flow​

  1. Assessments → Upload assessment (when visible) or open /assessments/upload.
  2. Metadata pane — fill assessment title / programme metadata as prompted (AssessmentMetadataSubPage).
  3. CSV Upload — attach file (CSVUploadSubPage); watch validation output.
  4. Preview uploaded questions — confirm parsed rows (PreviewUploadedQuestionsSubPage).
  5. Complete any final confirmation the UI requires to commit the assessment package.

After import​

  • Locate the new assessment in /assessments list; open detail to adjust settings or add bank content.
  • If validation errors reference skill codes or levels, fix the sheet and re-upload per process.

Operational note​

This path is operator-heavy — customers without Platform/Directory entitlement should use the AI wizard or JD flow instead of expecting CSV self-serve.
